6 The Sims 4: Seasons
Ever since The Sims 2, the Seasons Expansion Pack has always been a favorite, bringing the world around your Sim to life. Whilst creating the best life for your Sim through aspirations, and career goals are fulfilling, sometimes the outside environment can seem a little stale. I understand why expansion packs exist, of course; I hope that The Sims 5 will finally include seasons in the base game.
With The Sims 4: Seasons Expansion Pack, you introduce impactful weather and drastically different seasons to your Sim’s life. From white snowy winters to the warm colors of autumn, experience it all with your Sims. As well as the seasons, seasonal activities and holidays are introduced in this pack. Your Sim can have that white Christmas they’ve always dreamed of!
The Seasons Expansion Pack also introduces plenty of other content to go along with the weather, including seasonal outfits and activities, such as ice skating and fall harvest. One particularly fun part of the Seasons expansion is that you can garden! Gardening in The Sims brings an entirely new level of care and responsibility to your Sim’s life.

5 Sims 4: City Living
Sometimes suburbia can become a little drab, and your adolescent Sim will be yearning for more. The big lights and bustling life of city living could be just the thing to quench you and your Sim’s thirst for a change.
The Sims 4: City Living Expansion Pack provides an entirely new city (San Myshuno), where younger Sims come to slum it in a cheap apartment, working their way up to their dream penthouse. You and your Sims can now experience the struggles of big city living, from apartment mishaps to the oversaturated populations.
However, it’s not all doom and gloom! With the right touch, you can make your apartment a cozy home or an all-out party den; become the life of the party with all your city friends or live on your couch with your besties.

4 Sims 4: Get Together
If city living isn’t your thing, but you still crave more of a social life, The Sims 4: Get Together Expansion Pack is the one for you. The Get Together Expansion brings the new world of Windenburg to The Sims 4, where you and your Sim’s friends can create and join clubs no matter however niche they may be!
With this expansion, you and your Sim can create their own club, join another, and contribute to a group of like-minded Sims. Whatever the club, you have the power to define what attire they should wear and where the club meetings take place.
If you want a more social life for your Sim, then this is the expansion pack for you.
3 Sims 4: Get To Work
Sending your Sim off to work for those hard earned Simoleons can become tedious after a while. Once the house is empty, you end up sitting there with the fast forward button held down, watching your Sims needs become ever so desperate before they finally get home. While it's an important part of The Sims franchise, it can become monotonous.
Well, fear no more because The Sims 4: Get to Work Expansion Pack solves this problem! With the Get to Work Expansion Pack, you can now follow your Sim to work and help them get the job done. Choose from four career paths: doctor, detective, scientist, or own a retail business.
Help your Sims work up the career ladder and become a doctor saving lives, a daring detective solving crimes, or even a mad scientist creating crazy inventions! The fourth career path you can choose is becoming a business savvy retail expert. Create and build your retail business from the ground up and watch as the Simolenons flood in.

2 Sims 4: Cats & Dogs
No Sims life is complete without their trusty companion. Dogs are a Sim’s best friend, after all! The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack does exactly what it says on the tin, bringing the cute and cuddly to the world of your Sims.
With the godly power The Sims franchise grants you, you can create all kinds of cats and dogs for your Sims. Add them to your household and watch as your Sims bond with their new best friends. With the distinct behaviors and even outfits, no two pets will be the same, providing for a fun and varied experience.
This expansion pack also brings something else new to The Sims 4. With pets come animal ailments, so you’re going to need a vet! Your Sim can now become the local veterinarian and run a clinic for the neighbourhoods’ furry friends.

According to The Sims 4 developers, we still have at least 3 years of content coming for The Sims 4. With that long to go, it's hard not to let the imagination run wild with what sort of content the next years will bring.
Of course, it's a given that we'll get staple packs like University, or maybe a Supernatural pack, but how about some new ideas?
I've created a list of 10 expansion, game and stuff pack ideas that I'd like to see for The Sims 4!
To fully illustrate my ideas, I created some fake cover art for some of the packs below. The Sims used in the images were created by me and some images include CC (custom content); if so, I've given credit to the creators below.
Please note that these cover art images are NOT real artwork for any official Sims 4 expansion packs; they're purely fan art created for the purpose of this article. Please do not share or redistribute these images, especially not under the pretence of them being official EA packs.
The Sims has never had zoos in it, and it's a sorely missed feature in the game, in my opinion. A zoo game pack could add a new zoo venue for Sims to visit (and of course, the ability to build your own zoo from scratch), a ton of zoo animals to interact with (lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my!), as well as a new Zoologist career/skill where you can tame and train animals at the zoo.
The Zoologist career can also be an 'open' career, where you can give tours to visiting Sims, check on animals, feed animals, and put escaped animals back in their cages. Of course, animals will have to escape from their enclosures from time-to-time, because, hey- it's the Sims!
Fans have been asking the developers for an official farming pack for a long time, but the idea of having a fully expanded farm in the Sims has been particularly appealing after the success of games like Stardew Valley.
While the game currently has some rudimentary gardening abilities/skills in it, it would be amazing to have a full pack devoted to farming. There could be way more crops to grow and harvest, tractors, buildable farm houses, and of course, farm animals. The Sims 3 did have a store add-on that included milking cows and chickens that hatched eggs, but it would be nice to also have sheep, pigs, and the return of horses.
There could also be the option to turn your farm into a lucrative venture, and your farmer Sim can sell their crops or other processed goods (like cheese, wine, mayonnaise, wool, etc.) from their home or from the new Farmers' Market event which happens every in-game Saturday.
Amusement Park
The Sims 3 had a roller coaster store pack (see above video), but it'd be great to see an amusement park pack for The Sims 4. Think about games like RollerCoaster Tycoon or Planet Coaster combined with The Sims! My idea for an Amusement Park Game Pack would allow players to design their own theme park, or download parks made by other users from the Sims 4 Gallery.
You can take your sims on a vacation to amusement parks (theme parks, or water parks), where they can ride roller coasters, water slides, play carnival games, eat junk food, and win tokens and prizes!
We've had the University Expansion Packs since the days of The Sims 2, but we've never had the ability to follow our school children to school. Sims fan and content creator, Zerbu, made an amazingmod for The Sims 4 using the Get to Work system where you can follow children to elementary and teens to high school, but I can't imagine how awesome it would be if this was official content.
Besides the ability to follow children/teens to class, the Go To School Expansion Pack can also include a prom event for teens to attend, and after school classes for Sims of all ages. If your child/teen Sim has bad grades, parents can get called in for a parent/teacher conference. Sims children can finally have summer break (if The Sims 4 Seasons EP is installed) and an option to send them off to summer camp. There can also be an option to home school your child Sims!
Speaking of teaching, the pack can include a new open career for teaching. Follow your teacher Sim to school and make sure they're teaching the children well, disciplining them if necessary by handing out detention or extra assignments, grading papers, and calling parents in for those aforementioned parent/teacher conferences.
I don't know about you, but I love a Sim wedding. We really need more content for the weddings in The Sims 4, and some new things we've never seen in Sims games before.
A Get Married Game Pack could include a large variety of new wedding gowns and tuxedos, as well as new furniture and decor to have the perfect wedding with. The pack can add in new accessories, like engagement rings, wedding veils, and bouquets (with customisable floral arrangements).
The pack can give more depth to planning weddings as well: you can pick themes (rustic, vintage, casual, garden party, gothic) and even choose a wedding party and invite other Sims to be bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls and ring bearers. Plan a menu for the reception and choose from a variety of wedding cakes. You can select colours for your wedding party to wear, or just choose their specific outfits. And of course, the Bachelor/Bachelorette parties from The Sims 3 can make a return.
Finally, the Get Married Game Pack can include a new career: Wedding Planner. It's up to your Sim to meet with newly engaged Sims in the neighbourhood and help them plan their wedding, suggest themes, invite the guests and decorate the venue. When the wedding day comes, it's up to you to run around and keep the guests happy by mingling and checking on the bride and groom!
Behind The Wheel
The Sims 4 still doesn't have driveable cars, so The Behind The Wheel Game Pack can reintroduce cars and driving to The Sims 4.
The pack can allow your Sim to buy a car, learn to drive and increase their driving skill by taking driving lessons and then take a driver test (if they fail, no driver's license- and if they drive without a license, they can get caught and get an expensive ticket!). Sims can also buy and fix old cars as a hobby with the new car mechanic skill.
If your Sim has a high enough car mechanic skill they might start to get requests from Sims in the neighbourhood to come and fix their cars for extra Simoleons. There could also be a new rabbit hole career (meaning you don't follow the Sim to work like the Get to Work careers) called Car Salesperson. You'd obviously need high charisma skills to get far in that job!
While the base game already includes an astronaut career, and while Get to Work gives you the ability to travel to alien planet, Sixam, it would be amazing to combine the two ideas and create a Go to Space Expansion Pack.
Go to Space can introduce an open astronaut career, where your Sim has to go to the new Space Centre building to train before finally being able to blast off into space. Once they get to space, they can explore two new alien planets, meet aliens, and attempt to communicate with them by learning alien languages and teaching them about humans.
For regular, non-Astronaut Sims, they can purchase tickets to go for a vacation or even buy a house in space. If they have enough money, of course.
Get Travelling
There needs to be more travelling in general in The Sims 4, and that's where the Get Travelling Expansion Pack can come in. This pack can add in the ability for Sims to go to more vacation destinations (currently there are only two- Granite Falls and Selvadorada). There can be three new fully visit able worlds; a snowy mountains area with a ski resort and snowboarding, a tropical/beach island where you can learn to surf or snorkel, and an exciting cruise ship with casinos, nightclubs, and a huge pool on board.
Sims can also disappear off to rabbit hole vacation destinations (they can use the computer or smart phone to book a flight to a number of 'fake' locations in the Sim world, then they'll pack and bag and disappear for an in-game week or two).
A new open career can be included for a commercial pilot, where your Sim can start off as a flight attendant, then upgrade to a full pilot, with a mini-game of them navigating the skies in order to fly passengers safely. There can also be a new rabbit hole career of travel agent.
We definitely need more content for elderly Sims in the game, because as of now, they're probably the most boring life-stage in The Sims 4. Instead of just waiting for your elderly Sims to pass on, The Sims 4 Seniors Stuff pack can include a variety of new activities for elderly Sims to do.
It can include new accessories like walking sticks and frames, and hearing aids. Elderly Sims can throw a retirement party and invite their family and friends. They can also plan out their will and pick who their Simoleons and assets go to when they do pass away. There can also be a new bingo machine object, which can either be used at home or at the new retirement home venue.
The retirement home is a place where only elderly Sims can live. Your younger Sims can also work in the new open career of aged-care worker, and their job is to go to the retirement home and check on elderly Sims, help them with various tasks, run the bingo machine, and listen to them tell stories about days of yore.
A few years back, the Sims team shopped this idea around to players via a survey on potential upcoming content. It never came to fruition, but a Superhero and Villain game pack isn't a bad idea.
I imagine it being a bit similar to the Vampire GP, where your Sim can have two forms: normal Sim by day, and then their Superhero or Villain alter-ego at night. They can unlock special powers and skills (utilising the same sort of 'skill tree' that the Vampires GP created) and can choose to either go towards the light or dark and fight for good or evil. There can be random events where your Superhero Sim is called to fight crime, or your Villain Sim is called to do something truly nefarious. If you also own Get Together, you can make teams of Superheroes ala The Avengers.
There's so much potential here, and I think Marvel and DC fans, in particular, would really enjoy this kind of pack.

5. GET TOGETHEREvery Sims 4 Expansion Ranked From Worst to Best
The biggest thing that stands out about The Sims 4 Get Together expansion is the new ability to create and join Clubs. Special menus let you choose what age and what personality traits a sim should have for them to join your group, letting you fashion hangouts for nerds, hipsters, free-spirits, jocks, and whatever archetype you could think of.
Special icons appear over the included sim’s head while in a group, with the group leader having a crown and being in charge of what the group gets up to. You can select what activities the group can participate in, and also make limitations to how they act, like never being mean to each other or never being able to start a romance within the group. The more you interact with your Club, the more point you will receive to get social bonuses or unlock special things for your group like secret handshakes or set a vibe so your sims feel certain emotions whenever they are together.
Besides this new ability, not much else of Get Together has a lot of substance. There is a new neighborhood Widenburg that is one of the prettiest maps for The Sims 4 so far with European aesthetic on an island setting. However, the layout of the environment focuses on encouraging club house building for your sims, when this activity can be done on any neighborhood in The Sims 4.
As for new items, there a few special ones to mention like walk-in closets and natural pools, but all the other cosmetics and building items are pretty basic and center around themes like pub, arcade, and dance club decor. The expansion also offers a new DJ Mixing and Dance skill, but there is not much you can use those skills for besides showing off to other sims at a party.
Get Toegther is by no means a bad expansion, it just happens to be the weakest in terms of gameplay variability and cosmetic item inclusion of all the five currently released.
4. CITY LIVINGEvery Sims 4 Expansion Ranked From Worst to Best
The best part of City Living is by far the new map that comes along with it. San Myshuno offers so much gameplay-wise besides just a new city-themed area, and playing in the new neighborhood can sometimes make The Sims 4 feel like a brand new game.
In City Living, you can build your dream apartment anywhere in four different areas each with their own vibes, including Spice Market, Arts Quarter, Fashion District, and Uptown. The costs in rent differs according to location, and the new cosmetic items for decorating apartments are some of the nicest items The Sims 4 has to offer when creating colorful, and unique rooms. You can even refurbish a warehouse into a trendy, hipster hangout as if you’re in your very own 90s New York sitcom.
City Living also offers festivals, Social Media and Political career tracks, a singing skill, basketball, street art, fireworks, and more. Another great inclusion in this expansion is new small shops and events change daily right outside your apartment, making it so you don’t have to wait for a loading screen to see what the city has to offer.
While it is a great expansion, a few more beat out City Living for being the very best expansion The Sims 4 has to offer.
3. GET TO WORKEvery Sims 4 Expansion Ranked From Worst to Best
If focusing on your sim’s career paths as they climb the corporate ladder is your favorite part of The Sims, then you should definitely invest in the Get to Work expansion.
Get to Work has several new, fleshed out career paths with tons of new items to help your sims succeed in them. Referred to as active career paths, you actually take control during a sim’s time at work, when usually they simply disappear for a few hours off-screen with a few vague choices available as to how they spend their time on the job. The three new active careers include Doctor, Detective, and Scientist. At work, you will have several tasks to compete during the day and the more you compete them, the more promotions you will get.
However, the best part of Get to Work is the ability to open storefronts and sell whatever you wish to eager customers. You can simply increase the price of items from the Buy Mode, or make your own items yourself to sell them for a higher profit. All past creative skills like painting, woodworking, cooking, and more now have a new purpose for your sims, and the new baking and photography skills mean your sim will have even more options of customized things to sell.
Aliens also return to The Sims in this expansion via the inventions you can make with the Scientist active career or through the Rocket Science career as well, and just like in The Sims 2 they can abduct and make male sims pregnant (or be a “host” to an alien baby in The Sims 3) or can be befriended into your households for some wacky scenarios.
There’s tons of new items and gameplay options in Get to Work to explore, and is sure to make your base game feel all the richer.
2. SEASONSEvery Sims 4 Expansion Ranked From Worst to Best
Seasons is the newest expansion for The Sims 4, releasing in June 2018 and offering one of the meatiest content DLC inclusions to date.
All four seasons are cycled through as your sims age, with tons of new activities, items, interactions, and more for each specific one. The temperature and weather changes outside, with a thermostat available to keep things comfy indoors. Just the inclusion of changing weather makes The Sims 4 feel so much more eventful and the passage of time will have more meaning for both you and your sims as well.
A ton of other fun stuff is included as well, such as Patchy the Straw Man who is a scarecrow who can come to life and help in your garden, weather machines to make nature do your bidding, and special weather dependent clothing. Another big part of this update is the inclusion of holidays like Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. Each holiday has special decorations, characters (for example, Santa and Easter Bunny), and themed parties.
There is also a new Gardening career with beekeeping activities, a new flower arranging skill, and several new deaths linked to a sim dying due to seasonal affects like overheating, freezing, or getting hit by lightning.
Seasons feels like it should be included in the base Sims 4 game all along, as almost every other element of the base game is elevated when you include the variability of seasons and weather along with them.
1. CATS & DOGSEvery Sims 4 Expansion Ranked From Worst to Best
Of all the five expansions currently released for The Sims 4, you’d really feel like you were missing out the most if you didn’t pick up our top pick Cats and Dogs.
As the name of the expansion indicates, in Cats and Dogs your sim can create or adopt their own pets who age alongside their owners with their own customizable appearances, personalities, traits, and more. They can be trained to learn skills and can develop relationships with sims in the process, and sims that train animals will also increase the new Pet Training skill.
Mac icin djvu reader free. Along with the animal inclusion, Cats and Dogs also gives players a new Vet career path who can even open their own vet clinics from their homes with special equipment to look after the animals like a vet podium and exam table. The more pets you look after, the higher your vet skill will become, making helping animals easier.
Another inclusion in Cats and Dogs is a beautiful new neighborhood called Brindleton Bay. In it are tons of new areas related to pet ownership, such as dog training parks, cat parks, and more.
While this expansion doesn’t offer as much content as some of the others, you really do notice the lack of pets in the main game, almost to the point where Cats and Dogs should be considered a necessity for the base Sims games. There is still more that could have been added, such as horses, birds, snakes, and mice that are included in The Sims 3 Pets expansion, but Cats and Dogs still takes number one spot due to how much the simple act of owning a pet can add to the game itself.
